Please Note: the running of all proposed up-coming courses and meetings will be dependent on the conditions of the prevailing Covid-19 Alert Level status at the time.
The 2021 Term 4 8 week Introduction to Mindfulness courses have been postponed due to lack of numbers and covid uncertainty going into Christmas. The next introductory courses will be offered in Term 1 of 2022 if there is sufficient interest. Classes run within the school terms, at times and days that suit participants - so please let me know your needs and preferences and classes can be scheduled at suitable times. Please use the form below to express interest and I will reserve you a place on a Term 1 course which begins in February 2022.
The next series of half-day midweek workshops will be offered again throughout 2022 as refresher and extension courses for those wishing to deepen and re-inspire their mindfulness practice throughout the year.
Regular week-day lunch-time practice and support meetings for those who have completed a course are held every second Wednesday. An hour of silent sitting meditation is also held every second Tuesday in the Sanctuary at the Tauhara Centre in Acacia Bay. The annual Mindful Silence Practice Retreat day, also hosted by Taupō's Tauhara Centre, was held again this year on Saturday September 18 2021.
Details of all these programmes can be found on the CALENDAR/COURSES page.
MindfulPath organises and participates in local activities for Mental Health Awareness Week each year in the Spring. In 2020 was September 21 - 25. Last year we held a silent labyrinth walk and tea party in the tranquil Ora Garden at Taupo Museum. Please email me below if you would like to help, be involved or know more. Or just come along and join in with other local mindfulness practitioners!
Workplace courses tailored for the specific needs of your group or organisation and can be arranged on site after discussing possible options for timetable and content. MindfulPath has run one-off introductory sessions, weekly modules during staff-training, in-house full 8 week courses and presentations to conferences and professional gatherings. Individual training sessions and Mindfulness life-coaching one-on-one or small group follow-up meetings are also available upon application.
I am keen to learn what types of courses and times of the day Taupō people are interested in attending.
If you or your organisation have any preferences or requests please contact me and I will take your suggestions into consideration when planning or we can talk about possibilities for meeting the individual needs of your group.
