Monthly Mindfulness Meet-Ups
First (trial) Meet-up: Evening of Wednesday 15 May
Free at Thames Community Centre, 609 McKay St.
6.45pm to 7.45pm Wednesday
Share a relaxed and informal gathering with others who have completed the Taupo Introduction to Mindfulness course, those who have a regular mindfulness practice or others who are keen to begin one.
Discussion, questions and ideas with a short guided mindfulness sitting practice at each session
Share and support each other as we deepen our mindfulness practice together.
Cost: No cost. This meeting is free to those committed to maintaining and developing their regular mindfulness practice.
Mindfulness Taster Sessions
Come along and join a free 2 hour session to explore what Mindfulness is and how it can help our mental health and daily lives. Get an overview of the 6 Week Introduction to Mindfulness Course and see if you or your friends and family could benefit from developing new skills and science-based practices to re-wire your brain for greater well-being. Share a cuppa and discussion in a small friendly group.

Afternoon Session Wednesday June 19 - 12.30 to 2.30pm

Mindfulness Workshops
Two stand-alone Sessions designed primarily for those who have completed an initial 6 Week Intro to Mindfulness Course
Spend 4 hours exploring some further real-life daily applications of the knowledge and skills you have already learned in the 6 week course. Try some longer sitting sessions and continue to grow your mindfulness practice with others.
Doing the Next Right Thing – Mindfulness of our deepest values and life goals. 10am to 2.30pm A Sat or Sun, date to be finalised
What is Happiness? Mindfulness and Well-Being. 10am – 2.30 A Sat or Sun, date to be finalised
$40.00 for each Workshop at Thames Community Centre, 609 McKay St.
Bring your own lunch and share some relaxed time with a small friendly group as you continue to re-wire your brain toward greater well-being!
